Well, 2010’s Worldwide D&D event has come and gone, and did we ever have a full house!  Each year, Wizards of the Coast provides qualifying retailers with the swag and the adventures to host a gaming party of epic level proportions!  Everyone who attended had a great time!  If you missed it, not to worry, as we have multiple D&D events on a monthly basis.  Check the Calendar of events for more info on the next adventure!

We mean it when we say we’ll have tons of information for you – need to see what comics came in this week? Interested in selling your collection of Golden Age comics? Curious to know if we carry the newest in action figures or trying to find out if that new source book for D20 Dungeons & Dragons is out, or maybe you’re looking for that perfect miniature to round out your Heroclix. Maybe you heard about some great new anime DVD, such as Rurouni Kenshin, Initial D, Naruto, Inu Yasha, or Fushugi Yugi? Of course, your trip wouldn’t be complete without perhaps picking up some backing boards and boxes for your comics, or you fancy having that bust of Spider-Man or the Wolverine you’ve been eyeing sitting on your desk.

High Octane provides a fun, safe environment for gaming with gaming tables set up in our open area in the basement. Every week we hold many events and tournaments at our store.  Currently, we are supporting all Games Workshop games, Warmachine, Flames of War, Heavy Gear, Dungeons and Dragons, Heroclix, MTG, and various board game demos and rallies.  Check out our events calendar to see when your favorite games are being played. Improve your game, meet new people, win great prizes, and have tons of fun. Bring your friends down anytime and hold an impromptu draft/demo of your favorite game.  High Octane is open late Thursdays and Fridays to accommodate many of our events and casual gaming play.

OPEN GAMING

High Octane wants all of its customers to be happy. We have been operating a business in Kamloops, BC since 2002.  We can proudly say we attempt to make all our customers satisfied with the products we sell, and our friendly service. To support the products we sell, our gaming area is available any time we are open. We are open 7 days a week, from 10 to 5:30, and late nights on Thursdays and Fridays.  We offer DCI sanctioned leagues & tournaments for Magic and D&D. We have regular Heroclix, Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 tournaments, as well as Warmachine and Flames of War. We will constantly be adding new tournaments as interest arises. If you like to have fun, if you enjoy playing cards, RPGs or minis, enjoy meeting new people and new players, why not come join us?
